1. Product Disclosure & Ingredient Transparency
All packaged food items sold by Reverence Provisions comply with applicable U.S. FDA labeling requirements under the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA).
Ingredient lists, allergens, and handling information are disclosed on product packaging and/or product pages.
Common allergens (including but not limited to soy, wheat, eggs, fish, shellfish, milk, peanuts, and tree nuts) are clearly identified when present.
Some ferment, vinegar, miso, koji, and hot sauce products may contain traces of soy, sesame, wheat, and naturally occurring glutamates.

2. Cottage Food & Manufacturing Compliance (CA)
Products sold online and shipped within California are produced by registered food producers operating under:
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) compliance
California Cottage Food Operation (CFO) guidelines where applicable, or
A commercial kitchen permitted by a local California Environmental Health Department
We maintain required documentation, commercial kitchen permits, and food safety certifications for all ferment and value-added products.
3. New York City Food Safety & Approved Facility Requirements
For production, warehousing, and packaging occurring within New York City:
Goods are prepared in a facility operating under applicable NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene regulations.
All kitchen environments meet standards for cold storage, cleaning protocol, and food handling safety.
Packaging is handled in compliance with NYC food manufacturing and small-batch processing requirements, including proper labeling and batch control.
4. Shelf-Stable & Perishable Goods
Most Reverence Provisions products are shelf-stable and may include:
Ferments
Hot sauces
Koji products
Seasonings
Spices
Jams and value-added preserved foods
Some products may require refrigeration after opening, as stated on packaging.
We do not ship raw or temperature-controlled goods at this time.
5. No Medical Claims / Consumption Notice
Our products are manufactured as food items only.
We do not offer medical, nutritional, or health guarantees regarding:
Probiotics
Enzymes
Fermentation benefits
Digestive impacts
Allergen elimination
Any statements made regarding food, ferments, or culinary use have not been evaluated by the FDA.
6. Alcohol Content & Fermented Goods
Some ferments may undergo natural fermentation but contain 0% to trace amounts of alcohol as part of the fermenting process.
Products sold do not exceed 0.5% alcohol, and therefore qualify as non-alcoholic under federal beverage regulations.
