Who We Are

The underground supper club is back. 


Since 2004, SubCulture Dining has gone through a couple of evolutions and change. We've traveled from coast-to-coast, entertained, educated and raised questions about what it is to run an underground restaurant and how to truly feed people in the current world order.

Our original story was simple: create a means to an end for our brick and mortar program. With that goal achieved in 2009 and looking back at our long history of operations for the past 12 years, we've come to the realization that over these years we've made real impact both inside and outside our industry and in the lives of those that have crossed our path.

2017 is about embracing who we are at our core and turning the volume to 11 on those attributes that make us the premier Godfather of Underground Restaurants.

Each event has a unique take on who we are, what we believe and where our future lies.

Once you get an event notification through either our email system, the SubCulture Dining App or though one of our general announcements. You must quickly follow the detailed instructions to secure your spot for the posted date. Please READ CAREFULLY. It's incredibly simple. Just do as we say...


Meet at Secret Location

24-48 hours prior to an event, fire up the SCD app and your email and await the #FinalInstructions Notice. READ CAREFULLY. Once in hand, do WHAT and be WHERE it tells you, PROMPTLY. Failure or non compliance will end in your frustration and our laughter.

"Pay it Forward" Program

One of the important aspects in our belief has always been about education and gifting the knowledge of what we know.

We've worked hard for many years to create a unique dining experience, a hospitality culture, the nucleus that has become a career launcher and inspiration for others to follow. One of the most powerful impressions that a young professional can have is the direct visceral experience first hand.

So we're taking applications from as many cooks, techs, artisans, makers that we can vet to be guests on the "SCD Dining Community". 

Each guest that donates for a seat at an SCD Event is also given the opportunity to donate towards seating for "SCDPIFP" awardees... Join us in educating and inspiring those that may not be able to attend without that helping hand.
